Mission Statement
The Dieujuste Educational Foundation, Inc. is a 501(C)3 tax-exempt Christian ministry committed to provide the means of basic education to the poor and disenfranchised children of Haiti. We believe that the cycle of chronic poverty and illiteracy can be broken and the poor children of Haiti can rise to the expectation of helpful and productive citizens, both for their nation and for God.
Our Motivation
What We Believe
We believe that every child, regardless of sex, color, and national origin, is entitled to basic education. When established and public institutions are unable to assume this responsibility totally, men and women of good will must intervene and help. This is simply a Christian responsibility and God values it. We also believe that education is social and individual freedom. It is the key that breaks the yoke or the bondage of illiteracy, misery, chronic dependency, poverty, and slavery. Education empowers a child to become useful and productive citizens: Leaders of tomorrow. We believe that, with God's power and with the help of people of good will, Haitian children can and will overcome the odds and enjoy a brighter tomorrow. This begins with education. We are committed to help and we are engaged to follow through.
About the Ministry
The Dieujuste Educational Foundation, Inc. was birthed in our hearts in the year 2000. We Believe that, in order to forge a brighter tomorrow, Haitian children need the Word of God and easy access to basic education. By Haitian law, primary education is free and compulsory while State education is free at every level. However, there are few Government schools. The reality is that the cost of education is so high that only those who can pay for it receive it. Considering that 90% of schools in Haiti are private or run by religious organizations, the poor is left out. Often, the poor start school late and the drop out rate is very high. Those who remain in school often finish High School between 22 and 25. This vicious cycle, coupled with the cost of school supplies and the cost of living in general, condemns the poor to perpetual illiteracy which leads to chronic poverty and dependency. Nowhere is this situation more critical than the rural countryside where government schools are few and far between. There, the few existing schools are run by local churches, religious organizations, and private entrepreneurs. Some schools function even in open air or in tents made of coconut tree leaves. Few schools have a decent roof. In addition. some children walk up to ten miles to get to school, only to be released early because most schools can not afford to feed them.
This is where the Dieujuste Educational Foundation comes in. We partner with local schools, Christian educators, and other ministries to meet educational needs of poor children in rural Haiti. Using our own funds, we provide money to pay for tuitions, school supplies, teachers' salaries, Bible distribution, etc... We also endeavor to build or renovate school buildings and other facilities, if necessary, to facilitate learning. To do so, we seek partners to sponsor some of these children toward a better future. Would you join us and help? Your donation is tax-exempt.
How do we help?
The Dieujuste Educational Foundation serves the educational needs of poor Haitian Children by:
1. Paying the annual tuition for each supported child
2. Providing financial Assistance for books and uniforms
3. Augmenting Teachers’ salaries
Please help us meet this challenge!

- 1 John 3:17 -- "But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?"
- Proverbs 21:13 -- "If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered."
- Proverbs 28: 27 -- "He who gives to the poor will lack nothing, but he who closes his eyes to them receives many curses."
